I Was Sad (Do not tell, show)

 

At night, when the crickets start singing, I walk towards the shore. I know, people are watching my appearance. But I don't care about their worried looks. My white skin turned pale. My eyes are droopy and the retina of my eyes is like a faded red stamp. With my unbalanced footsteps, I dragged the sandal on the ground and made a loud noise. Arriving at the edge of the beach sand, I went down the stairs weakly. "drap... drap..drap" my feet finally stepped on the soft sand. I stared at the dark beach with a dazed look. Unknowingly my tears fell. One by one. Slowly but surely, I took off my sandals. I walked straight towards the beach. "brussshhhh" the beach water hits my feet, then my calves. The more desperate I walked to the middle, the higher the beach water reach me. "I'd rather drown in this seawater than drown in my tears of sorrow for the past 11 months."
